Acted as planning consultant and agent for a successful application for a certificate of lawful development for the conversion of an 8 bed semi-detached house to a 6 bed HMO in May 2022. Following the completion of this conversion, I acted as planning consultant for the use of the property as an 8 bed HMO. Argued that two additional rooms would not harm the character of the property and the local area and the amenities of surrounding residents and therefore was compliant with local planning policy and guidance. The application was approved at Planning Committee in July 2023.
