Acted as planning consultant for the redevelopment of a Green Belt site with vacant commercial buildings to provide a two storey dwelling and detached garage near Halewood in Knowsley borough.
Successfully used paragraph 149(g) of the NPPF, in my Planning Statement, to argue redevelopment of a previously developed site which had no greater impact on the openness of the Green Belt than the existing development.
Co-ordinated the input from other disciplines including architects, ecologists, arboriculturalists, geo-environmental consultants, acoustic consultants and demolition contractors to put forward a detailed planning application package covering all of the planning and environmental issues. Alongside this, the active and positive dialogue with the local planning authority case officer resulted in obtaining full planning permission in 4 months.
